Cactus Massacre is not a casual weekend project.
The goal is to build an original hard rock band with a distinctive Southwestern identity — strong songwriting, memorable live performances, and a long-term vision rooted in the Mojave Desert and the outlaw spirit of the American Southwest.
This is about creating music that stands on its own: hard-hitting, honest, and built to last. We are assembling musicians who share that ambition and are willing to put in the work to make it real.
The project values musicianship, creativity, reliability, and commitment. If that resonates with you, keep reading.
Classic hard rock staples we know, rehearse, and perform — the foundation for building something original.
Got something in mind? We're open to suggestions — so long as it fits the spirit of what we play: hard rock, classic rock, blues swagger, and desert outlaw attitude. If it belongs in a packed room on a Saturday night, bring it.
Ambitious. Optimistic. Tentatively scheduled.

We've heard it's round. So are we, technically. Negotiations ongoing with reality.

Right after we find a drummer, learn the songs, and become the kind of band that plays stadiums. Should be any day now.
All dates subject to band formation, rehearsal attendance, and the continued laws of physics.
Videos, recordings, and live footage will land here as the project takes shape.

For decades, life had other priorities — career, family, responsibility. Music was always there, but it waited. Not because the passion faded, but because timing matters, and some dreams need the right moment to be pursued with the seriousness they deserve.
Cactus Massacre is that moment. Not a nostalgia trip or a midlife fantasy, but a deliberate effort to build something real: an original hard rock band with its own identity, its own songs, and its own path. The Southwestern landscape, the outlaw spirit, the weight of classic hard rock — these aren't costumes. They're the foundation.
What's needed now are the right people. Musicians who understand that great bands are built through rehearsal, respect, and shared commitment — not overnight fame. If you've carried a similar dream and you're ready to invest in it, this might be worth a conversation.
